DIPLOMA IN  MANAGEMENT - DIM

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Diploma in Management (DIM) is specially designed for  current or future middle managers wishing to improve their present performance and effectiveness or to prepare for a more senior position. It aims to broaden their understanding of human resource management and to enhance their skills, knowledge and attitudes. At the same time the program is academically rigorous enough to integrate into an undergraduate or graduate award of Mina.

The DIM program aims at achieving the following inter-related goals and objectives:

  • To provide a program of study that develop broad management skills.
  • To offer an intensive learning experience, that instills a wide range of in-demand and relevant areas pertaining to Management.
  • To provide an understanding of the respective importance and the inter-relationship between the different management functions.
  • Develop students understanding capacity and the motivation for lifelong learning.


PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for the award of the Diploma In Management (DIM) program students are required to take four 3-credit courses totaling to 12 credit hours of study. The following are the courses offered in this program:

3. BBA  304    BUSINESS COMMUNICATION TODAY. (3 Credits)
4. BBA 411 ESSENTIALS OF ORGANIZATION DEVELOPMENT. (3 Credits)
(Total 12 Credits)

ASSESSMENT PROCEDURE:

Students are assessed on the basis of a variety of assessment methods including, unit exams, research papers, and final examinations.
